When Things Get Rolling

September is a time when things get rolling.  The slow, golden days of summer glide into fall.  Schools starts.  Sandals and shorts are slowly replaced by sweaters and shoes.  There’ll soon be a new nip in the air.  Autumn is just around the corner.

After what may be a slower pace during the summer, September is also a time when Children’s Ministries starts to ramp up.  Calendars fill.  Activities and special events take off.  The seeds of vision sprout.

Has God spoken to your heart this summer?  How?   What are you doing this September that’s new, fresh or original?  What new programs or priorities are you pursuing?  What are some of the new challenges you face in ministry?  How will you adapt?  What is God doing in your corner of the C.M. world?

Here’s your chance to chime in.  We’d love to hear from you.

  1. wow a lot of questions in that last paragraph. Well I’m excited, because I get to begin leading a 5th-6th ministry at our church and I am learning from a ton of awesome experts in Children’s Ministry through interviews on a podcast I just started. So that’s what is happening for me. 🙂
